Young Adult Ministries

YADA (Young Adults of the Diocese of Alabama ) is designed to build an important community among 20- and 30-something adults, whether we haven't made it back to church in a month of Sundays, or we are actively involved in church life. YADA hopes to meet our spiritual needs as we face common life challenges, journey on our own spiritual paths, and become incorporated into local parishes. YADA offers young adults a place to belong, learn, laugh, pray, and grow.
These informal gatherings provide an open forum for spiritual discussion at a local restaurant, coffee house, or 'watering hole'. Topics of discussion range from basic questions of faith to whatever is on one's mind
Did you know that the National Church is putting time, effort and financial support into enriching the resources available for ministering to people in their 20s and 30s? Better yet, did you know that some young adults from Alabama are working with the Network to enhance activities here? More exciting news is forthcoming...in the meanwhile, check out the Young Adults page of the National Episcopal Church. |
