Resources and Reflections for our Diocesan Youth Ministers
Welcome to our new page for Youth Ministers in the Diocese!
First, let us say thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the young people of this Diocese. Your gifts and boundless energy continue to astound us! Please contact a Diocesan youth staff member, Sarah Sartain, Deputy for Christian Formation and Youth Ministry, or Leslie Manning, Youth Ministries Assistant, if we can assist you in your ministry in any way. We are here for full-time, part-time and volunteer youth leaders. We hope you will be able to join us for our monthly gatherings at St. Stephen's in Birmingham.
Let us know how we can be helpful to your ministry.
God's Peace,

Upcoming Continuing Education Opportunities
"Adults Who Work with Youth "
sponsored by Kanuga Conference Center
June 22-27, 2008
For anyone who is connected with teenagers in the church — youth workers, Sunday School teachers, confirmation mentors, clergy or laity.
Jesus assures us that there is a place for us in God’s house and that he has gone ahead to prepare rooms for us.
Youth Ministry itself is a house full of different rooms: rooms we play in, rooms we pray in, rooms where we rest, rooms where we work, rooms where we listen and rooms where we speak.
Rookies, veterans, volunteers and paid staff — anyone connected with teenagers in the church — are invited for this week of exploring and preparing the rooms where we invite young people for ministry.
