Chrochu Haiti - A Mountaintop Experience

Jenkins "CJ" Ross, a registered nurse and member of St Francis Episcopal Church in Indian Springs, led the Diocese of Alabama's the first medical team to to the remote mountain village of Crochu, Haiti. The team hiked in, camped out, and operated a three-day clinic that provided much-needed healthcare to more than 300 patients. Here she reflects on the challenges and joys of that very special mission.

General Convention Forum Scheduled June 28

The 76th General Convention of the Episcopal Church will convene in Anaheim, Calif., July 8 and will address many topics with emphasis on global concerns, domestic and foreign mission, and the Anglican Communion. Everyone is invited to meet and talk with Alabama’s bishops and deputies to convention during a special forum, Sunday, June 28 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Church in Birmingham.
